Saves time We all get frustrated with tight deadlines and unrealistic expectations. These brushes save time by not having to think about how to give more dimension and detail to your work. More often then not, you will get inspired by the results of applying different strokes to the same path. This often leads you in directions you never would have thought of. More often then not, you are able to use a couple of brushes, expand off of that and complete the job. |
Easy to use If you know how to use a tradtional brush, pencil or pen tool, you can use these digital brushes. The Brush sets come as one contained file that you throw into your brushes folder, start up Illustrator/Photoshop and you can select them in your brushes palette. It doesn't get much easier than that. For vector brushes, we have also included the brushes in an additonal eps file. This allows for you to edit and tweak to your liking or if you use a different vector application, you can use these also. |
Powerful Tool It is widely known that the more tools that you have and use, the broader understanding of process and form. Using these brushes only extend off this knowledge even more. Many designers will use slightly different brushes to break up the monotony of a line stroke. These do that, but they also can create forms that you never would have dreamt of. |

| Endless effects There are thousands of tricks and techniques you can use to take a simple brush and develop it into your style. Most applications also provide menus to affect how the brushes can behave as well. Every week we are coming up with new tricks that open the doors to many new ideas. The best part is that we all work differently, so the way they are used will be drastically different. |
Vector Brush Collections We are always looking for new ways to create unique results. Without a doubt, vector brushes can change the way you work. Different curves, angles, length, and sizes are all factors on how the stroke appears. You can apply unlimited strokes to any work and get a highly detailed and realistic feel to any illustration. Watch the videos for more tricks and tips or create your own techniques! |
Bitmap Brush Collections Using these brushes in Photoshop you have endless options. You can easily use them as a paint brush and paint your image via the paint brush. Another option is to use the brushes to create textures over an image. For example you could take a modern photograph and rough it up to look older and have more grit to it. As well, there are numerous methods for customizing the brush to your needs (width, opacity, shape, fade, etc), view the videos below for examples. |

||||||
Bitmap Example 4Image was started from a low resolution photo of Karizma (Baltimore) and we then used brushes to reconstruct the photo, going with a monochromatic palate. Tip: Use layers, a lot of them. |
