As you’ve probably guessed, my name is Jake. I am a Graphic Designer & Illustrator, born and raised in the Midwest with a strong work ethic and a desire to explore. Over the years and many travels later, I developed an unending love for all things tropical, from palms trees to octopuses to tiki-drinks. This love eventually landed me the moniker Spring Break Jake which I turned into the one-man design studio before you.
I draw inspiration from everyday life. Whether it’s a simple color that catches my eye on the way to work or a whole culture & place I’ve never experienced before, I’m eternally searching, learning, growing, and developing my style and abilities. I’m constantly learning new skills, techniques, & methods (shoutout to Skillshare) and always eager to expand the reach of my creative eye like the Dark Lord Sauron of design.
With ever-growing roots in skateboarding and snowboarding, I’m excited about the opportunities freelancing gives me to expand my design prowess into other industries like music, tech, non-profits, fashion, real estate, & more.
