Bodoni Ferrara includes both of the so-called “Transitional” and “Modern” style serifs—meaning it can pair with many types of serifs or sans. It also has an "Informal" mode with a single story 'a' and other letter forms for a friendlier feel. The range allowed with Ferrara, in size, style, mood and situations, means that this is the classic, fashionable font for display.

With a total of 5 optical sizes, Ferrara can display beautifully at a multitude of sizes. Each optical size of Ferrara has thin to heavy weights, allowing Ferrara to be used like a sans—with contrasting styles.

• Subtle forward angle makes Ferrara more lively and engaging than most Bodoni or Didot fonts.
