Big Sur is a six-width slab serif font family with a unique look. At first glance, it is clearly in the tradition of old west style and wood-type alphabets, with its chunky top and bottom strokes and serifs. But it also features a whimsical vibe in the curvy and pointed flourishes, the wavy baseline, and the swash terminals on many of the glyphs.
