Pins N Needles was designed with trendy natty* wine bars in mind, perfect for confusing-but-creative product descriptions and web copy. Incidentally, it's named after the feeling you get when you've been sitting on one cheek for too long, which is how I felt by the time I'd finished making it.
Pins is a monospace typeface, meaning no kerning is required as each character occupies the same space as the next (which has the added benefit of making layouts really easy).
It's a bit weird, it's clean, it's sexy, it's all the things you wish you were.
Pins was designed for the Weirdo, but it does a good job of faking it in 'polite' company. A true chameleon of a font - I'm sure you'll find a million uses for it.
