I aim to shoot each image incorporating the journey and the location’s narrative. As a result, a shift of attention began to focus itself towards the environment and setting, and in turn, a large resource of landscape and ambient images of the surrounding scenery and nature. Many of these images give a glimpse of the story behind the action, and create a look into the surrounding landscape that I find myself immersed in while out shooting in these remote locations, and on their own aid to tell

Originally sold in the 1950s, the Filmotype introduced by its founders Allan and Beatrice Friedman was a simple manually operated photo typesetting machine (the iMac of the 1950s) and it used 2-inch filmstrips with over 500 amazing display alphabets so the user could set headlines on photo paper or film.
